It is important to have selected a frame of mind to read these cards: whether they are associated with a romantic situation or just your life in general. I typically implement a 4 card spread to (1) look at the current energy of the situation, (2) assess the challenges of the situation, (3) consider something unexpected relating to the situation, and (4) give an overall conclusion.
